We are delighted to recognize Mavrud Ambassador, Krassimira Kodukova.
There are people who enthuse and unite and know how to provoke fruitful actions in achieving causes. Krasi is just such an inspiration.
In 2019, she first talked about a celebration of Bulgarian wine; today, more than 20 countries around the world celebrate International Mavrud Day.

Caroline Gilby MW is well known in wine circles for her unrivalled knowledge of wine production in eastern Europe. She is a notable contributor to the Oxford Companion to Wine.

Professor DSC Venelin Roychev
In appreciation of his work with viticulture and winemaking, we present to you Professor DSC Venelin Roychev from the Department of Viticulture and Winemaking at the Agricultural University of Plovdiv, our next Mavrud Ambassador.
Professor Roychev published the first monograph on the Mavrud variety, "Mavrud: Legend and Reality", in 2022.

Dimitar Dokuzanov
With respect to the outstanding work of Mr. Dimitar Dokuzanov - an oenologist who for 27 years has been creating wines worthy of the international stage.
For 18 years he has been the chief technologist of the Rumelija winery, where he creates wines and never stops experimenting with the Mavrud variety, both in the vineyards with innovative technologies and in the cellar. His wines are a remarkable representative of the varietal, which also represent Bulgaria worthily abroad.
