For the fourth year in a row, the Bulgarian Association of Wine Professionals (BAWP) is organizing a wine festivals from the end of September to October 2023 - International Mavrud Day. The annual wine event promotes Bulgarian wine and wine tourism among local and foreign consumers.

For the third year in a row we will celebrate the feast of local grape varieties. Dedicated to Bulgarian wine, it is named after one of the country's oldest and most esteemed grapes—the Mavrud. This initiative aims to create a strong interest in Bulgarian viticulture and wine production.
