On 26 and 27 September, Ruse will mark the beginning of the wine autumn with the first edition of Urban Wine Fest - an urban festival that kicks off the month dedicated to Bulgarian wine and the International Day of Mavrud.
At the wine bar located in the city centre, the BAWP team will present the festival selection with over 40 wines from 15 local varieties. Guests will have the opportunity to taste, learn more about the terroir and the stories behind each wine. The atmosphere will be complemented by stands with delicious culinary offerings prepared by local chefs.
We will celebrate International Tourism Day - 27 September - with a focus on wine tourism opportunities in Bulgaria and Romania. Wine routes on both sides of the Danube, new tourist products and ideas for cooperation between the regions will be presented.
Expect a rich musical programme, featuring local performers, as well as exciting surprises that will turn the wine evening into an unforgettable cultural experience.
Urban Wine Fest Ruse is an invitation to everyone - residents and guests of the city, travelers and professionals - to start together the celebration of Bulgarian wine with inspiration, unforgettable encounters and good taste.

Entrance to Urban Wine Fest Ruse 2025 is free. Consumption will be paid on the spot.
